Grass Mowing in the Village
The bulk of the grass cutting is done by an outside contractor engaged by Harpole Parish Council. The verges are the responsibility of the Unitary Authority and is delegated by West Northamptonshire to Harpole Parish Council, and they pay for 3 cuts pa.
The contract is reviewed every N years and put out to tender, the job specifications can be found below.

As well as the tenders, interviews were conducted with three of the shortlisted companies tendering for the contract and references were obtained from neighbouring Parish Clerks.
