Temporary Closure of Bridleway KP16
West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians, equestrians and cyclists from proceeding along those lengths of Public Bridleway KP16 in Harpole and Public Bridleway LB1 (Part) in Upton as specified in attached map. Private access to land or premises adjacent to the said lengths of bridleways are unaffected.

Police Liaison Representative
Harpole Parish Council is looking for an individual from the Parish to be a Police Liaison Representative. This person would be the single point of contact for the police for the village for giving updates on police initiatives.

West Northants Drop in Centres
Highways will be joining West Northants Customer Service Team at a drop in event at Southbrook Community Centre in Daventry. This will be on Wednesday 20th September, 10am to 12Noon.
There will be a further events through Autumn/Winter 2023 (please see attached schedule).

Time to apply for School Places for September 2024
Parents and carers of children living in West Northamptonshire can apply for a reception place in a primary or infant school, a year 3 place in a junior school, or a Year 7 place in a secondary school, for the September 2024 intake.
Parents and carers will be able to apply up until midnight on the closing dates for both Primary and Secondary applications.

New grants scheme launched to create volunteering opportunities in West Northants

Scarecrow Festival 9th & 10th September - Road Closures
The Scarecrow Committee would like to advise that we have been granted a temporary road closure which covers the three entrances to the village between the hours of 12pm -5pm both Saturday and Sunday.
