Salary: £39,493-£47,573 per year (pro rata) based on LC3 SCP 33 - 41
Job Type: 35 Hours per week
Harpole Parish Council needs a new Clerk and is seeking an excellent manager who is proactive, dynamic and can lead and support the council through a period of unprecedented growth.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to become part of an established parish council in Harpole, a community in West Northamptonshire which is undergoing considerable change and growth. The Parish Council seeks a skilled and resilient manager to shape the direction and lead the council through this period of significant change and beyond.
The Parish Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer will have outstanding leadership and communication skills and bring drive, vision, commitment, strong leadership and the ability to build a positive working relationship with councillors, staff, residents and partner organisations across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
The ideal candidate will already be a qualified clerk or deputy clerk responsible for managing the complexities of a growing parish council, with significant change management experience and a strategic business focus.
